Our Start
Peony Market began with a dream back in January of 2015. Sharon, the founder, was impressed with Isaiah 61 on her heart. The verses in Isaiah describe God’s redemption plan for his people. The words of redemption gave Sharon an idea of curating products for women to encourage them in their worth and identity in Christ. Words such as “oil of gladness, comfort and garland of praise” became soaps, oils, journals, wraps, and jewelry, etc. Sharon’s friend, Marilyn, fell in love with the eternal purpose of Isaiah 61 and has been a foundational piece of Peony Market since the beginning.
Our Values
Our core values are “Grace, Honor and Strength.” We know that we have been given so much grace from Jesus, we are to give grace freely. The second core value is to Honor all we encounter daily. The third core value is Strength. Strength means taking care of yourself mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Our Community
Peony Market is a place where seasonal gatherings will occur. This is an opportunity to meet new and old friends and experience beauty, God’s love, and meaningful products. It is also an Online Store for those in need of a gift for your home or those you cherish, and a site where the founder, Sharon Moye, will be posting a bimonthly blog, “Beauty In All Forms.” Peony Market partners with Uncaged, an organization whose mission is to rescue and restore women who have been trapped in the sex-trafficking industry. 10% of proceeds from all of our products and 100% of proceeds from our key necklace will go towards Uncaged.
